School Productions

Very Merry Theatre’s school productions are an exciting way for children in elementary and middle schools to participate in original adaptions of plays and musicals.

Opportunities For Students

Students of all ages have the opportunity to work together to develop their literary and theatrical skills outside of the classroom while meeting students of all grades and building new friendships.

Our Network of Schools

We work with schools and students all over Vermont and our network is constantly expanding. Annually, we work with Edmunds Elementary and Middle Schools, Orchard Elementary School, Flynn Elementary School, C.P. Smith Elementary, the Integrated Arts Academy (formerly H.O. Wheeler), the Sustainability Academy at Lawrence Barnes, Hunt Middle School, South Burlington, Westford, Winooski, and Essex Junction.

Artist-In-Residency

Very Merry Theatre also has an artist-in-residency program in which a different local school hosts some of our actors and artists. Through this program, we collaborate to practice and perform an original play in just two weeks. We have collaborated in recent years at schools in Vergennes, Essex Junction, Pomfret, So. Burlington, and Bristol.
