Interested in Defying Gravity, the newly expanded VMT Adult Program?

Here's what you need to know!

What it is: A chance for the VMT adults to perform roles they've always dreamed of but have become a little...mature...for.

Meeting time: Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30, O.N.E. Community Center.

Fall cabaret: Our "final product" will be a Cabaret-style performance in November. You choose what you'd like to perform (song? dance? scene or monologue?), from Broadway, Off-Broadway, VMT originals, something you saw on TV...anything goes!

During our meetings, we will collaborate and support one another to develop the performances. There will also be an opportunity to be part of group dance numbers, which will be taught/rehearsed on Wednesdays.

Can't make it to the meetings? No worries! You can absolutely work on something on your own time.

Please note: we will not have a pianist and will be working with karaoke tracks. Almost everything can be found on the internet these days!

Directions and Parking Info

O.N.E. Community Center, 20 Allen St, in Burlington's Old North End

Please use the front middle doors on the Allen Street side to enter.

Elevator access is available on the street level, to the left of the main entrance.

Follow the signs to the black box theatre (2nd floor, northwest corner room).

Limited street parking is available on Allen Street. There is a parking lot behind the building. The parking lot entrance is on the North Street side.
